I (F29) stopped in with my mom (68) after our art museum tour and had a wonderful time. The sandwich was great and just what we wanted, paired with a beer for me and wine for my mom before we continued our Deland walk. The selection was top notch for beers and draft! They had my absolute favorite, hard to come by, Purple Haze Beer which is a beer flavor followed by raspberry, I highly recommend trying if you’ve never had it. The waitress/bartender, shorter female, (don’t recall her name) was a delight and we couldn’t recommend a place in downtown Deland more!
The Abbey is my favorite spot in Deland. Wonderful selection of beers, amazing meads by Odd Elixir that I LOVE, and friendly and attentive staff. Yummy food. Great events. Just a awesome place!Definitely recommend!
Abbey Bar has the Best caprese! It's so freaking good w the toast which is done perfectly! I love trying the new mead flavors which happens all the time. Great selection of craft beers as well. It's a great place to hang after work on a Friday and the staff is all very friendly. It's dog friendly as well!
Excellent food with an extensive list of beers and meads. The staff makes you feel like a long time friend.
