eating and the personal are phenomenal. everything was fresh and cooked for perfection. in any case one of my men and I'm favorite places for brunch and dinner. we always recommend family and friends who come to visit!

if they like bread, cheese and wine, they will love this place. the croques are like super decadent French grilled cheese sandwiches with really crispy crust and various toppings. as a bonus they allow dogs on their terrace! stephen was fantastic, both of which I was, and the third time that he had switched to barkeeper. they have limited charcuterie options, but they always have specials.
great place for a relaxed French culinary experience. the environment is beautiful, a bit small and crampy if they are not a place on their terrace (which is amazing, they will forget that they are in gainesville). the food is fresh and well prepared good croques, escargot, french woof, nikoise salat. the brot is won from vine, so you know it's great. the cocktails consist of some classic aperitifs with some other well made options. the list is not huge, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. the service is hit or miss, depending on who they get, with the best servers that are solid and some of the newer ones that still stand out. overall, the only big part here is that there is still the mood of a college cahangout spot as good as they are. I wish they would open a second place on the other side of 75 for the mature population in gainesville, maybe a bit more elevated. I think it could be very good.

Very nice breakfast, warm and cozy atmosphere
We came for Saturday brunch. The restaurant was fairly full but we did not wait for an inside table. We started with the apricot mimosas and omega soft boil egg. Then had the bacon quiche and la Norvegienne. The food was well prepared and attention was given where needed, ie flaky crust, salmon portion, creamy yolk of soft boil, and great acidic vinaigrette on kale side salad. The atmosphere is very much like a busy street corner of France but not so loud you cannot talk at your table. A very good brunch and time will spent.
Super friendly staff and the food is absolutely AMAZING. I got the salmon quiche and it was the best quiche I have ever had! I will 100% be back!
