(review of the restaurant) I have the feeling that our business did not want, so we went. had an dinner reservation, but more than 30 minutes of almost zero attention and not in the position to even make a drink order, made us quite enchanted. I myself and a few others came a few minutes early for a 7 o'clock reservation and checked with the host. there were some other parties, some of which were there for a long time. it was obvious that the staff was very busy, so we waited patiently for our table to be ready. understandable in view of covid personal deficiency. 15 minutes later we were still there, so I checked with a hired one we sat a few minutes after, but the feeling that they had forgotten us. we got water and brot. I asked if we can order drinks, let us know that she is not our server, but that our server would be soon. 15 minutes later, no server yet, no drinks yet. we finished the broth and left without anyone noticed. one of our party realized that he left his wallet there, so we returned 10 minutes later, table was exactly as we had left it. I am looking forward to eating good atmosphere, but with a rather disappointing experience. I really hope the dinge will turn around soon.

locals who are popular for German eating and I can agree! I really enjoyed the house style meets homemade flavor spices sausages rehearsals had smoked bratwurst, nourished bratwurst and a Polish sausage served with homemade sour wort and sauteed kartoffeln. for dessert apfelstrudel and chocolate marble cheesecake.

All right. the hotel looks old. the daughter of a man who is very mean to us. we stayed here for two nights, in the first night our room went out of heating, it stopped after 5 minutes when we tried to use the room phone to call the reception, but the phone didn't work. So I went to the reception to ask for help. and the old man came into our room and checked it and brought some tools to repair it, and he told us that the heating is old, so we have to manually shut everyone on when the heating no longer works. we told him we have a small child with us, if there was no heating, we could sleep over the night, so we tried to change a room and the old man said they were full. the old one said we could find ourselves a portable heating after he left and we were waiting for 30 minutes that he never showed up or lets us know he found or not. I went back to the reception to ask for the portable heating, the old man said reluctantly, he will bring it into our room. and the bed was not so clean, we were not sure they have changed the bedcloth or not got my daughter in the first night and could not sleep well and wept. we helped her to take a shower at 1 o'clock and got her something to see and changed different bed to sleep. this was our first family trip, we felt the worst to stay here for 2 days and met unfriendly staff here. we're not coming back.

the worst check in my life's experience, and I've eaten and eaten here before. the older man at the reception allowed to check guests or only pay up to 4 clock parking guests to stay later than 4 clock. I heard he gave a woman the permission to ask if she could stay a few more hours. there was an event in canyon and it seems that everyone who paid for day parking tried to stay past the 4 o'clock time. Now, when I told the man that I was checking now at 16 o'clock, there is no parking space, he got rude about it and was just rude for me all the time. he said I could park in the city and drive up the gondola! I told him my reservation says guaranteed parking at 4 uhr checkin. he said he didn't have a way to drag the cars like that. then he said I could park in front of a car with lots of snow on it. they come to find out it's his car so why he has a vehicle that takes place on the parking lot. very strange, idk when he lives here because the car was obviously not moved since the snowstorm days. I finally got a place I had to stand in front of me and wanted to stop a little bit of it. then I fell, it was just a terrible “checkin” if you can even call it that. I have not been offered any concession or discount for the inconvenience. Anyway, very terrible service, I will never stay here again. I really don't know why he was so rude to start with it. he got angry that I wanted a parking lot for which I booked with my $300 per night and that was guaranteed to me.

We decided to stay here in the middle of a week-long road trip to give ourselves an opportunity to shower and hopefully sleep on a nice mattress. Shower/bath, check. Nice mattress, not so much... Wish we had paid a little extra for a nice bed, although I'm not sure if they have those at this lodge. There were a lot of weird noises that kept waking us up at night too. We were impressed with the large jetted tub in the suite upgrade though. It was just what we needed. We had dinner at the restaurant downstairs and we were not disappointed. The food and beverages were delicious! They allowed us to check in early too, which was great. Had we known the campground at Twin Lakes offers showers though, we probably would have just gone there a day early instead. Location is decent and staff was friendly enough.
