I had the opportunity to taste beef snack from a friend before I even heard about her, and I vouched to come and check her, then I could. It's a Tuesday and they had hot dogs specials going to I think $1. I definitely took advantage! I have a few cheeseries! Needless to say I will come here more often

Service was friendly and fast. I had the Cheesey Beef on garlic bread with fries and my wife had a Chicago style hot dog! Everything was done perfectly! Very delicious! The pommes are freshly cut! The Fritten Size is HUGE! If you are with another person, I would recommend sharing an order. Can't wait to go back and try one of their cheeseburgers! Very recommended!
Absolutely great. I'd take out a star to feed me a heart attack with the hairs. Fair price, huge sandwich, real fries. Clean, very good. I'd drive 20 miles for the Fritten.
The dog I had was great, but not to Knitterfries. The woman behind the counter was patient when I was a new customer. Even my food was still quite warm. And they even gave me a lot of napkins where some places are not close enough to you.

Although the menu is limited, they are great at what they do. Fast, friendly service and the fresh-cut fries are absolutely amazing. Also a big fan of the cheesy garlic bread.
Well we ate here every single day during a deck install in Elgin. It was not cheap but it was fantastic. Strangely one of the best fast food burgers ive ever eaten...... Seeing as there are hundreds if fast food places to choose from. Plus the other sandwiches are typical of the Chicago area i.e. hot dogs and beef.
Their beef sandwich is better then Portillos. Much more flavor. Fries are good sometimes. I often get burnt dried out ones so I think they reheat them in the oil if they've been sitting. Some consistency would be nice especially with prices going up.
