I would like to comment about the previous review from Ryan. I was there for this incident. The coffee shop gets their tea from the kitchen and they had run out from brunch. It takes about the same amount of time it takes to brew drip coffee to make a new pot. The employee working that day was Annie and she called several times to get this guy his tea and even had to send another hotel employee to get it because she was not allowed to leave the shop as she was the only one working. And when he asked for a refund the employee politely explained she had to get a manger. But when the manger came he caused a scene and wouldn't accept the refund. The employee started crying because she felt so bad. Great service from Annie and Tiffany. I would definitely recommend 100 times over. If you made it to the end of this review I definitely suggest you check it out at least once despite some of these reviews I've never had a bad experience with them.

LOVE this lil coffee shop!!!!! Tucked inside (but with its own outside entrance) the Hotel Blackhawk you will find a very nice Variety of Hot or Cold coffee choices and the best Beignet’s made to order.. SO Good! They are close to Cafe du Monde in New Orleans that you will find here! For those who’ve never had one, a beignet is a four-part, fluffy pillow of a donut sprinkled with powdered sugar. These are AWESOME!!!
Very nice coffee shop with a great 'visiting ' feel attached to the Hotel Blackhawk. With Beignet in the name, it definitely is loaded with carb options. A little rough for my Celiac (Gluten Free) husband. And, the menu board is a bit tough to read its crammed with writing and hard to discern the options efficiently.
Coffee tasted good, plus 1 free refill. We also got an egg bake thing and of course some beignets. All of it was good.
Had the beignets and let me say that, I have had the beignets at Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans, and these are as good, IF NOT BETTER!! Generous portion as well. Next time in Davenport, I know where I'm headed for breakfast!
