*4 1/2 stars my noble chewing gum and I held here on Friday afternoon for a gentleman after a good Mexican lunch on the road. I was here almost a decade ago (good herr) with other friends and was pleasantly surprised to see this place still in existential and flourishing. at the time I had specifically gone to try the beignets since I lived in new orleans and was a regular at cafe du monde, but I actually ended up enjoying the donuts here more. Once I saw it referencing on her menu, I remembered that I had ordered the earthbeer field for always donut last time and really enjoyed it. I was back in and was not unhappy. it was like a miraculous timewarp. all donuts here are cooked at the place, made to order, and it shows. the teig has the perfect dense, not too heavy, and I'm not sure if I can really articulate how good the individual aromen are without babbling incoherently. I loved the tiny white chocolate chips on the top, which are right at the edge of the melt, but still somehow keep their shape until they bite down. goes perfectly with the strawberry. my friend has a lemon-fed and really liked it. they were a little more expensive than the last time (which was again close to 10 years and not during a massive supply chain/inflation crisis;) I think they were about $1.60 then and are now about $2.00 that is really not bad when you say how much time has passed and how crazy price points are in these days. dunkin is probably about $0.40 cheaper, but it is also a substandard product in comparison to this, especially if they think they stop making fresh donuts in dunkin at a certain point, so they risk stale bäck on the later day in which they migrate in. the service was top notch, with all desired items ready to eat in five minutes. there were two women behind the counter when we came in, both friendly/personal. there were no other customers who obviously helped, but we were immediately greeted and our orders made as soon as we thought out the numerous options and made our decisions. great to see this place as solid and reliable as ever. it is worth bypassing the numerous dunkins, who are staring at the route 46 and coming to the city of denville.

This place is amazing. The number 7, baked chicken stall, roasted red peppers and fresh mozzarella is from this world and the rice balls are the best I ever had! The pages are also incredible, I don't think you can go wrong with something on the menu. The service is also top notch, customers are treated with utmost importance and the owner takes care of everything that is going on. The only bad thing I can think about is that I wish they were open for dinner and I wish they delivered lol!
