brix used to be a nice little restaurant. but it really went downhill. the prices are very high. $20 for a burger. $20 for two tacos. under the escape they had only a single unhandled escape below $45. it would be okay if the quality corresponded to the pricing. but the bark in the $20 tacos was hard as leather. my $14 texas tini, this is her takeover of a Mexican martini, was terrible. they also seemed to have only one server for the entire restaurant. I understand that the staff is hard now, but there was a bartender who did nothing and three people on the innate. it took 30 minutes before we could even give our drink order and when we were ready to go, I literally had to physically foot in the kitchen to get the server so I could pay. this service is easy to use at this price level.

the prices did not correspond to the information provided. this was our first time that we had visited this. they advertised in a local timeline happy hour with half starters. we called ahead and checked the details with the hotel. they confirmed half-off hosts and discounted on drinks. after sitting, yes the half of the appetizers in this restaurant, but happy hour not here on drinks, but on a small bar in another part of the hotel. no true happy hour on appetizers and bar at a place in the hotel.

Above average for hotel restaurant. Avocado toast as a starter was great pickled onions and radishes were a great compliment to the traditional flavors. Chicken and waffles could use a little sprucing up frozen chicken tenders and waffles that felt like they were from the continental breakfast, but the honey butter was tasty. Scrambler could use a better presentation but was a decent portion of a standard breakfast plate.

Greasy burgers and sandwiches in our group. Would try again very understaffed with graduation and prom.

Unfortunately our first time there was not good. The burger was very bland. No meat seasoning. Steak was over cooked. However the chicken was good. Took forever to get our food. Will we come back...probably not. Employees were nice. The restaurant is nice as well. A little on the expensive side for what we got.
