For a advertised special $22 for Chowder Lobster Roll, this is a good knowledge lobster prices are through the ceiling. I live close, but first. Nice walk after the order inside. Many chalkboards with menu selection. Many decisions, along with craft beer wine. The counter reading was easy. (There was a short line, but they kept it moving) The checkout was the highlight friendly, clear communication and thorough. A service. My order was prepared for the takeover (registration pickup) in a very reasonable period. The lobster roll was abundant and fresh. One with butter, one with Mayo. Simple and good no surprise seasonings or accents. This is usually a good thing. Chowder not as clean tasting as I hoped, but okay. Many local places buy a basic product and annoy it. I feel like the potatoes in Chowder was boiled over, making it a little grainy. Ordered cheese with bacon. Excellent genuine cheese, but turned into a solid block. It's hard to eat. Liquid cheese has its advantages. Another positive experience. Also here was a good service of the standout.

We stay on the road, at Moody Beach RV Campground. In just a few minutes walk we found Brown's Clam Shanty on Route 1. What a jewel. The fried shrimps were tender and light. The French fries were crisp and wonderfully seasoned. Karen Audie's Double Swiss Mushroom Burger was juicy and tasty. The portions were perfect (okay.... too much food). The prices were refreshing more than reasonable. We typed when we ordered and just had to tap again before the service was left so pleasant and sincere. The staff running on the parking lot to deliver orders, and still stop to check on us while eating our take-out was very hospitable. I don't know if the whole family works today, but they seemed safe like the family.... Thank you for serving us as completely as your industry is fighting!
Lobster roll and clam chowder were delicious. Only lobster meat in the role and much of it. Had a choice of butter or Mayo. Bbq chicken package was also delicious. Order in the window, find a seat, inside or outside, and they bring the food to you. We will definitely go back.
The food was great. Fresh and ready. They had some specialties with fried fish and lobster rolls... just delicious. The staff was super friendly. Sit outside, enough distance from other people.
We were staying in the area and decided to stop in for a quick bite. The fried clams and scallops were delicious!! Definitely will be returning!
Not from around here. Came here on a group trip with friends and we had a late lunch here. Great food. I got split the captains special with scallops and haddock and they were the best scallops I've ever had. Delish!
