Located on the outskirts of the industrial park in Hauppauge, this location has been more different eateries/bars that I can't keep track of.
We had our rehearsal dinner here and I was blown away with the service and the food.
I chose butterfields based on location, easy access by lie. the reviews are accurate, a steady three-star experience. we reserved for 7 o'clock on Saturday. the dining room was half full, but would have been empty without two big parties. The Oldies band was very loud, I wouldn't suggest going to music in a night when they were willing to talk about dinner. the employment was strange for two people, perhaps due to the great party in the front escap; we sat on a round table for four plus. I had to wedge a butter knife under the foot to stop the wobble. we ordered the caprese salat to share (mozzarella and cut tomato on a teller) and I had the salmon. eating and service were not bad, but not great. overall a mediocre experience. the con of the choice based on the location, there is no decent location near for a night capsule. instead of staying longer, we decided to cut the night short and go home.
totally disappointed. the waitress has done everything wrong, she has not heard our needs. eating was nothing special. dessert was also a disappointment. not worth a return.
evening reservations were at 7:30. the band started early and was super loud. although the band was beautiful, it should have started later so that we could enjoy a meal. the Pesto dinner was terrible. but the aubergine others had haare it was good. no place to catch talks.
