What a hidden gem this place is! I would've never expected to have some of the best Mexican food of my life in Silverthorne out of all places, but you'd be surprised by this place. Don't let the looks deceive you this is truly some of the best Mexican food I've been able to find in CO and you will not regret your visit. And let's not forget the cherry on top which is their incredible salsa bar! They have a wide variety of salsas to choose from and even some roasted jalapeños as well. Additionally, after your done stuffing yourself with whatever your heart desires, you can go ahead and shop around the market for some yummy treats and desserts. Moral of the story: If you're ever in the area this place is a must try!

My favorite Mexican food in the area and definitely the most authentic. Amazing salsa bar with a big variety of great sauces and toppings. The meat counter has a bunch of authentic meats and cuts that you don't see in grocery stores. We stop every time we head through town on our way to Steamboat.
La Perla has the best Mexican food in Summit County. Yum, Yum, Yum. We eat barbacoa, beans and rice buy their Avocados and flour tortillas from the grocery side of the establishment We take these items home and eat authentic Mexican Food!!! Nothing else in Summit County comes close!!! My personal wish list get a liquor license so they could serve cold beers and margaritas
I went for lunch this week, and they had a special enchilada w/rice and beans plate thing on the menu board. So sure, I'll try that. So I start ordering and we had some communication issues but we got through it. I took the enchilada plate and loaded up from the salsa bar and headed back to work. Wow, the orange salsa is really spicy! I love the whole jalapeno and pickled onion as well as the other salsas on the salsa bar. I was surprised that there were three enchiladas, smothered red (your choice red or green as well as chicken or beef) and the shredded beef inside was super good. I think it ended up just under $20 without drinks and after tips, but boy it really filled me up and tasty. FYI, parking is difficult there even in summer. Maybe park over by the lumber/hardware and take a small walk.
Excellent tacos and a great atmosphere. The Market has great selection of fruits and spices. The food was authentic and very flavorful.
First time trying this place and it did not disappoint. I ordered the carne asada burrito which comes with rice, beans, cheese, and green chili verde salsa on top. We also ordered the chicken and beef flautas which came with rice and beans, super crispy and made fresh. Everything was extremely flavorful and delicious. Must try!
