The decor is fab, it's like entering an eatery on a small Japanese street, like those you see in movies... the food was OK but I wouldn't say particularly good. We had their signature pork ramen, chicken donburi and overfried spring rolls and gyozu. The ramen was a little too hard. We didn't try the sushi (self serve, in the fridge). It's an interesting no frills place though, good value, thoughtful but not fancy. It's good to know that a touristy place has honest food like this. It's quite close to the Greyhound bus stop, and has a supermarket adjoining where you can get something when you arrive.
