We went to Cindy 's for an ice cream, and we typically enjoy it there . I had written a positive review in the past. However, on this visit, I ordered a large flurry $5.95, including 3 topping. I ordered their fluffanutter ice cream with 3 toppings cookie dough, KitKat. And cheese cake) the young lady rang me up and said, That 'll be $10.63. I handed her $15, and replied, But the sign says $5.95 for a large flurry with 3 toppings that 's what I ordered. She called over who I think was the owner? And they git to work on the register, so after fixing the error, it only cost me $10.63 for a $5.95 flurry. There is no truth in their pricing. If you decide to go, go with deep pockets because the cost isn 't what it seems.

They should have two people taking orders. It's very hot standing in front either waiting to order or waiting for your items. The ice cream is okay, the price is fine. The associates seem good. I miss being able to sit inside.

The food is your basic dinner food but the icecream is the real reason to go. They have non-dairy soft serve in a million flavors. They are so worth the drive from Springfield just for the icecream if you can't have dairy.

this place is terrible, around the müll. we first came to the gas house where we had stayed. we said that was a very chic restaurant, but when we arrived there was a family of four in T-shirts and flip-flops. I was so excited to eat here I ordered the most expensive thing on the menu, their 40$ prime rib. for an appetizer I ordered the queen. I should have known when we killed a bowl of cheese sauce. I could have gotten better from a 7x from their nacho cheese machine. her cheese was tasteless and cold, what a baptism? next came the nativity I asked to be medium rare. came out a cold piece meat, not the best rib after each of the standards that was prepared as well as done and very difficult to eat, let alone cut. a baked potato that was dry and was covered again in previously mentioned cheese. When I asked about butter, I was told that they don't have one. So for $40, I have starved. I never leave steak and kartoffel in my life, but this time. this plate was completely indelible. the vegetables were barely cooked, so that they eat like fresh carrots from the refrigerator and brokkoli directly from the head. I ate that nice because they were by far the best tasting things on the teller. we still tipped the waiter as 30% because it wasn't her fault and she was attentive. When we came back the jazz band night, we were completely ignored by all employees, even by the bartender who recognized us, nodded us, but went on. After we sit there for 45 minutes, drink less than the whole staff looked around us and the people who came after us began to receive service, we just left. we came back to new years at night to try to spend some money again and after ordering our first round, the bartender came back to us after the fact and said that they kept a card for our register card, although we had 2 out of 4 people at the whole place. how their customers feel clumsy when this was discussed at the first interaction, it would not have been unpleasant, but the way it was addressed was not good. that comes from somone, who has been in the industry for about 25 years. this place is bad. I will never come back here again, I will never spend another meal here and I write to warn them to spend their money here. go to the city, go to brickhouse they will pay so much better attention to them, do not stay here, drive them for another 30 minutes and stay in grand lake, that will save them money and frustration. -5 out of 5 stars
