Circa At Foggy Bottom

I've eaten at CIRCA Foggy Bottom many times for a reason--the food is good-to-great, the ambiance is very pleasant, and the staff is friendly. The whole package is a good deal for what you pay. Service is the one thing that remains inconsistent. On this visit, the restaurant was barely full but service was a bit choppy. Our entrees came out halfway through our salads, which meant that the table was too crowded and either the salad had to be abandoned or the entree got cold. We had to flag our head server down several times to clear the table or provide fresh silverware or to indicate we were ready for dessert. Other than that, it was an excellent experience, and I will be back!

Seated inside, with nobody near us and as more guests arrived, we asked to move to an outside table. No problem. Moved us quickly and happily. Waitress was delightful too

Circa is a good location for those going to the Kennedy Center or Lisner. Food service and prices are all good.

Excellent food and service. Bruschetta was simply perfect and seared tuna was excellent as well. Highly recommend
