I only got a salad (which was fresh and crispy), but the rest of our party got a variety of breakfast and dinner dishes. Everyone said their food was fantastic. Our waitress was attentive, without unnecessary interruptions. We will definitely come back!

I was pleasantly surprised with this cafe. My wife and I had our first meal at the Country Cafe. Breakfast brought me back when the diving stop was even more common. Now we only have places where you get microwave food. This morning I ordered an omelet with everything in it. What I filled my record that didn't happen today... Cooking at home best! Be sure to stop...and if you do, you will meet more than likely Stephen Jennifer, friendly, fantastic service, you will not regret it. PS doesn't excuse pictures... next time!
Good, healthy food, BUT, I have a few complaints. The grilled Hamburger Steak was very thin/flat, as you put on a bungalow. It should have been at least twice as thick, juicy and at least salt and pepper; disappointing. The menu offers baked potatoes, but they do not say they are not available until 4:00, so I ended up with corn potatoes (they may be real or combed, but they were ok). The saving grace was that the engraving was homemade or very well packed. I think it was scratches because it had very large, beautiful mushrooms and beautified onions. The cookie was nice and pretty big. As I said, the food was good; only needed more spices during the cooking process. I will definitely eat here again, but I will pay attention if I order my order to cook via the BEFORE cooking process.
Breakfast in the Country Cafe at Trex Mart at exit 20 on I-29. Arrival when it was opened at 6 a.m., welcomed warmly and immediately served. I was the only one who eats there for the whole visit. Classic rock plays in the background, with a tv praying weather and news. Rustic, agricultural atmosphere. Many pictures and historical wall paintings of the local plate County Fair. Well done. The food was served hot and ready, in my opinion, slightly boiled. It was good. Toast was great. Friendly service.
Their food is great. For a newer building they seem to have several issues like air conditioning going out. They keep rather odd hours, closed by 3pm on Sunday? Seems like that would be the evening when most drivers are looking for a good meal.
McKenzie was our waitress she was perfect. Our sandwiches tenderloin and Fry's and the BEST BLT ever .cheaper than McDonald's and fast perfect amount.Did not leave hungry. Thank you
Country cafe had some really good food and the staff their was awesome and Kelly A. Was really nice and was one of the best server we had in a long time and recommend the chill was so good to! I would recommend that you give them a try.
