I grew up eating from this Delin and it will always be a nostalgic place for me. Since the movement it's been 12 years since I had the land cow and I can honestly say every day I miss their ham egg and cheese and Reuben Sandwases and being pregnant doesn't help because it's all I want now and nothing to do with the compared to country cow. I've been a customer since 2005. Their bacon, egg, and cheese was the best choice around, but has really gone up in quality since the pandemic began. Most notably, the cost of the BEC has increased dramatically with all of their other sandwiches and drinks. I suggest Pine Creek Deli in Fairfield as an alternative to breakfast sandwiches these days.

I'm late downhill BEC is now 5.25 (only natural) and honestly for that price you better head over to Pine Creek Deli and get a shredder for $6 cash or credit. The bacon is often burned too.
Went in to get a bacon egg and cheese. coming from nyc i am still looking for a good bacon egg and cheese. this place makes the best so far. people are great the ambiance is nice and chill. the only thing i did not like is that they do not accept credit cards or any sort of touchless payments. they have an atm that requires you to pay a fee for using.
Wish I could have voted 0 stars, not only is this business cash only but the staff on hand were extremely rude to not only me but also my 7 year old son when we were trying to order. Im upset that unfortunately they survive on the cult following that cant seem to understand how the home fries are dry, the bread is stale and if you want a cheaper sandwich that is much tastier there are numerous options all over town.
If you haven't eaten at the Country Cow, to say you're missing out is an understatement. There's a reason everyone in Fairfield County raves about them: from the famous BECs to their grinders, nothing on the menu is ever worth anything less than 5 stars.
Stopped into Country Cow on the way out of town and grabbed a well made breakfast sandwich for the road. Seems like it's owned by a local family and has been for years, which makes it cozy and no frills. I wish they had more vegetarian and vegan sandwich options though. Cash only, so bring some!
