Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

we recently visited with our family great food for the price. service was also very good. we ordered chicken fried chicken, pot roasted and hamburger steak. they can go at the lowest cooked they can go for steak is medium per restaurant and I found hamburger steak a bit on the hard side for medium. Peach tea was great, we ordered some peach mimosas and they served it warm, but tasted good.

I would not come to them a star on all told us 40 minutes waiting ending over an hour and 15 minutes keeping us on special tables waiting the place 6 they at the end put us on a table of 4 with 2 chairs on each end. Finally, was sitting and only gave us the lunch menu had to ask for the breakfast menu, had to hunt down my waitresses told manager about all this and looked like it bothered him offered nothing even a man came by and take salt and pepper and sugar basket out of the table in the middle of us eating when he tried to fill everything so that he could leave for the day instead of waiting the table was empty we spent over 2 and half hours her

this location was very clean and service was attentive and friendly. landessen in house style was reliable good. I ordered her sweetheart, which is four sides. all were great, although the green beans did not season. I think this is done on purpose for older people who have visited this restaurant. her loaded sweet potato comes sweet, with zimt and marshmallow, unless they order differently. the charalat was great and delicious! the only improvements were cleaner bathroom and maybe some lighter options on the menu.

Probably the wife's favorite place for breakfast. We both enjoy the country boy breakfast $10 and change which comes with country ham, two pork chops or a sirloin and 3 eggs, fried apples, hash brown casserole, grits and biscuits with country gravy. You must admit that's a more than ample meal for the money. I could go on and on about the menu selection but will highlight the trout, roast beef and chicken fried chicken as some of our other favorites.The country store has nice items of interest for holidays and personal gifts if you have a hard to please friend or relative and children will certainly be able to find the special treat.Service is typically good, usually not great due to obvious turnover, (we go often enough to notice the new faces), and you may have to gently remind servers if you need something missing or a to go container. They typically forget about you when they drop off your check, so remind them early on to come back if you're not through with them.Above not withstanding, good bunch of folks there and always courteous.Great place for work lunches and family meals.Took a star 6/20/21 due to performance of online experience: It seems desserts aren't exactly the best to order for take out. I received three peach slices between crusts and no ice cream. Dumped into my plate for a picture.Oh. Not uncommon to wait 15 minutes or more for a curbside pickup order. Still deserves an average rating since food item selection is overall good.

Stopped for lunch. Service was quick, but the food was merely adequate. Having eaten at a Cracker Barrel before, we knew what to expect. As a whole, the quality of the food disappointed. We'll try someplace else next time.

Honestly I am very disappointed. I worked here over 6 years ago and it's changed so much...and not for the better. Me and my partner sat down at our table, greeted by the waitress as usual. After waiting almost 25 mins (not busy at all) I received my salad BEFORE our drinks. I had to ask the assistant manager when we were going to receive are drinks before she brought it out to us. 30 seconds later comes our food which was brought by another server. The only time we saw our server was when she took our order and then gave us are ticket and said have a nice day. We sat there for awhile thinking she'd come back considering we needed refills and other things but nothing. Very disappointed on how the staff is now. Me and my family have been going there all my life and it seems to get worse each time we go. Probably won't be back for awhile.

Staff was ultra friendly. Food was good, classic home style cooking, and was ready quickly. I had the meatloaf dinner and it was great. Restaurant was very clean and they made it easy for my father-in-law, who needed to use a wheelchair, to join us for dinner.
