March 2017 Review: Evening for Darios Dinner... they were busy! Wow... but we managed to get the last open table and had an amazing meal... garlic knots with cheese butter and marinara, an excellent margarita, chicken parm, Veggie Risotto (ammmmazing and mussels fra diavlo... what a great place. While food is only phenomenal, the service was also on point. Our server Elmer is consistently the best... pays perfect attention. Only a great experience every time.... December 2015 Review: My experience at Dario's Ristorante in Fitchburg: I wanted to go to Dario's for a long time (as they have usually opened because almost all who have been in the Discussing Fitchburg Now group raves over them (and Posts pictures that are better to fill my jealousy). So tonight was my first time. There's 7:30... Place was pretty busy... most tables full... but not full enough to have to wait. Beautiful ambience... comfortable/kozy, nice enough to dress up, but put back enough to wear jeans. You have a nice low-top full bar next to where the cook looks nice to sit.... The restaurant temperature was warm, which was nice, so often I have to wear my jacket in restaurants because they keep it so cold! Dario was toasty warm... I appreciate it. They brought the drinks and a bread basket directly out of the oven with oil and Parmesan cheese....loved that. All right. I got a Dario Espresso Martini (Black what was good and my spouse got a Peroni (Italian beer). A roasted Ravioli appetizer... came with Marinara sauce... was fast and excellent. Good sauce... perfect ravioli filled with cheese. mmMm We have the Salmon Grand Mariner Special with Flieduccine and the 14oz New York Strip Steak Special with Risotto... the cook went by and began to order our meal... he was very nice and asked us personally how it was... and it was excellent. The steak was perfectly cooked (so I heard of all the satisfied sounds...and the risotto was also delicious and perfect. My salmon was also tasty and the captivating capon had this sauce that was ridiculously good... kinda sweet, very creamy.... I ate too much and had to literally push it away so that I would stop.... got this dog bag to go; The place closed early... we were the last table and were at 8:30. So not too late... Two thumbs... The general consensus is correct. The food was worth the calories.

Great place. You feel like home as soon as you go into the door. A Fitchburg gem. The chef behind the counter always says goodbye and Shawn the waiter is the man. I don't usually check restaurants, but as I said, this place is great. Look at it.
Had a split-dinning with my cousin We had the fried ravioli as an appetizer that was great And split the eggplant parm that was superb! Had enough to go home after sharing the duck! The prices were also very good Will absolutely back!!

Went to Dario's in Fitchburg with my mom. The absolutely best sauce I have ever tasted. The bread was so delicious that we could have just eaten that and been happy. The waitress was top notch. Very wonderful. Can't wait to go back.
My wife and I eat have eaten at Dario's multiple times for one simple reason the food is Great with service to match. anyone who knows me and how I hate going out to eat because I always seem to get sub-standard meals and or service. however this has never been the case at the Lunenburg or Fitchburg location. Every Christmas season My wife and I host the family Christmas party for both sides of the family 1 night her family 6-25 guest , 1 night ,mine the same , one time instead of cooking we handed out Dario's takeout menu and they all ordered, this was the ONLY time in about 20 years there were NO left overs! we always look forward to eating here!
I had the Chicken Picatta and my husband had scallops, both dishes came with Risotto. The food was delicious. We will definitely go back again.
Went for our first time today. A friend raved about it. So had to see for myself. My new favorite place. Love the garlic knots. Very friendly staff and amazing chef! Highly recommend.
