I went to the restaurant with friends to celebrate an evening. I give this review because the service I received while there were some of the best I had in the city. the menu looked pretty good, although I had nothing else than the grilled cheese and I was riding with a 5-year-old. the waitress was great for the little guy, brought tassen with children and strohhalmen to make the drink easier as we were at a high table. she delivered additional ketchup and refilling every time we were low and was incredibly friendly throughout the process. she even brought another lid to take juice to go when we were ready to go for the night. all in all, fast, friendly service and the best experience I would have asked. that was my first visit, but it won't be my last.

we go to the double eagle as it opened when we only live directly on the road, about 1000ft away and were regular. Now that we live farther away, we don't do it so often, but when we do, we are always pleasantly surprised and happy that we did. the food is excellent throughout, from the appetizers to burgers or their delicious desiccant and salads. they are all but the same ordinary meals they find in the city. the prizes are always amazing me how they can simply spend the same or more to warm other places in the city before packed foods, but why can we have something real that is better about miles? the atmosphere is always welcoming as the personal, also for our 2 young children, who can sometimes be a handful. I really can't stress enough how friendly the staff and the moats that are sitting in the bar are. it is great to have a place that is not smoking, child-friendly, a beer on tap with a good choice. I can not recommend the double eagle enough, it is really a diamond in the rough fairbanks. favorite meal: black bleu burger best desert: irish cream bread pudding ps they have winter hours, they are not only open in summer!
we came in on Sunday at 2 o'clock and were not very busy. we received a fantastic timely service and have quickly restored our food. eating was above the Fairbanks standard and the drinks were great.
great food and a good choice of beer on hahn.

Don't go to eat.Have good food and a different menu than everyone else but I've been three times and it's the worst service anywhere.Rude waitresses.
