Here's the deal with Eden Vietnamese Restaurant you know those places that the IT guys from work talk about going to for lunch, where they get huge plates of rice and gloppy chicken and an egg roll? This is the absolute PINNACLE of those types of places. It is a LEGEND for how well it executes this formula and also for how much of a mystery it is. As you can see in the pictures it is not uncommon to have lines of 20+ people waiting for lunch. Because everyone loves a legend and everyone loves gluttonous portions of spicy ginger chicken. But like I said it's a place that generates questions. I mean none of their menu seems like Vietnamese food, why do they call it Vietnamese Restaurant? Why do they only have SHRIMP TOAST on Fridays? What's in the secret sweet and sour sauce you have to ask for? Why only open for lunch? Does anyone really understand the menu and pricing? It's ridiculous. It's like a huge delicious msg enhanced mystery! For the FOOD it's really basically SPICY GINGER CHICKEN or gtfo. Some people insist BEEF AND POTATOES is good and I'll admit I've had it and it's pretty legit but rice and fried potatoes is just maybe a mental block I can't get over. With respect to the NOODLES they are pretty good as an entrée but oddly don't pair well as a side with other mains. Recommend NOT going for the NOODLE UPGRADE. The EGG ROLLS are good, wontons can be good depending on freshness and SHRIMP TOAST on Fridays is a huge fan favorite. CASH OR CHECK ONLY. LEFT AT THE WILLOW
