delicious! we have the mermaid tee (I did not expect to be lavender and ananas a good combination, but it was! and two dishes. I have the north shore shrimp that was crispy, sweet and with the cocks still smeared. the soße reminded me of a sweet and sour sauce. my friend has the Hawaiian style poke dish that is raw ahi tuna. the fish was incredibly fresh (have they a secret tuna tank? and well seasoned. both were served on white rice. the waiting period was about 20 minutes for eating, but it was Friday night and a new business (only a few employees, but it was 100% worth, and the beach atmosphere was very pleasant and the waiting time for our drinks was just 5 minutes. I am looking forward to going back!

good Hawaiian food to go. there were many wonderful things on the menu, and I had the katsu before. it is rare to find a Poke shop on the western slope, and it is unusual, but that is expected to be flown into the center of the continental. this time I got the kauai chicken, and I was impressed because that was still super crisp after the home trip. they were really smart and packed to go the sosse, so I could put it on myself when I wanted to eat it, and it was wonderfully sweet, spicy, and umami salty in all good ways to make my rice super tasty. the portions were very generous, my half order was a super big lunch for me.

the Google business page for this company says they are open on Saturday. they are not. they earn so much money from the collage, they do not have to be open at the weekend. a sign on her door says that. I am interested in eating on Saturday, so this place is from my list.

they have just increased their price, and that is too much! 14.00 a bowl and 22.00 a plate. this use to a good place for a light lunch now its full meal prices for the half of the food. what a shame. I hate to say it, but I doubt I'm back.

Food tastes good, but having prices blacked out and not honoring the online pricing they have is kind of messed up. We won’t be back until they can be more honest about the pricing.

I wish I could leave a good review since I love the place but since the price raises. It has gone from a expensive treat from now and then to once in a blue moon blow out. I hoped with the price increase I got more food but that wasn't the case. 27 dollars for a plate for one person is no longer reasonable. It'll be a long time until a revisit

I have been coming to Ekahi grill for years now since it has opened here in grand junction. Over the years the portions have gotten extremely smaller and the prices have gone through the roofs. Today I was charged $50 for 2 plate lunches that left my stomach pathetically unsatisfied because the protein to the plate felt like a mini. If the plate is 22 bucks before tax then I expect the food to be either out of this world or at least filling. Service was blatantly terrible as the cashier had no customer service what so ever as he shook his head after I asked him on the price breakdown of each plate. The menu’s have the prices blacked out so you can’t even see how much your paying for the food. This is not the ekahi I remember and it is sad to see this place not be a local spot anymore.

It’s to bad what’s happening here food is good but gone up in price, and better yet they are not offering more. This place had good potential but I am afraid it’s going to be lost. I am afraid I just had my last meal here.
