Christmas Eve dinner and our first time visiting. Friendly staff, festive interior. We tried the brussel sprouts and the mushroom soufflé for appetizers and then had a spinach salad and monkfish. All courses were delicious! Great experience- we will return!

I wanted to like this so much more than I did everything was just a little lacking in something. The mushroom soufflé, while warm and comforting, lacked flavor and seasoning. The Caesar salad was underdressed and also lacked flavor. (A pepper mill wasn’t presented until we were halfway done with the salad. The Statler chicken that my wife had was fairly dry and, again, lacked flavor. My “shrimp and grits” was just mediocre. The shrimp were nicely seasoned but the grits were somehow simultaneously over and undercooked. The wine list just plain sucks very little choices and obviously zero thought went into it. Sigh; another lackluster restaurant that I can cross off the list.

Dinner was delicious. Portions were very generous. Would definitely go back. Very enjoyable evening.
