Fitzrays Restaurant and Lounge

I often go to this place for lunch and afternoon drinks. The staff is very friendly and prompt with service. The food is very good and reasonable priced. The bar is located across from the Bud Garden and gets very busy before hockey and other events at the Bud.

Went with some friends for a nice Friday lunch.Guinness in a can was ... Guinness in a can.A friend recommended the fish and chips - so I figured, what could go wrong? Well, first off, I ordered gravy to go with the fries. Meal came with no gravy. Didn't see server again until I was pretty much done with my meal. Fish was ... more batter than fish - which is how they keep prices low I would guess. Fries were fine. Was chatting with friends when bill came. Didn't check it until after I'd paid, but was charged $1.79 for gravy that I never got. Happy Holidays. Would not go back. Plenty of better options in the downtown core.

Close friends recommended Fitzroys and we went with them twice in two days. Great pub atmosphere. Good beer on tap. Love the fresh popped popcorn to munch on and of course the warm welcomes. Fitzroys is the closest we've experienced to an English pub and we will definitely return when we're in the area. Great downtown location as well. Close to everything.

I enjoyed a pleasant, affordable lunch here in well under an hour. The service was excellent and the food was good.

Support local indie music artists and stop by for some apps. Beer selection is acceptable and they seem to be breaking into some craft flavours. Service is great, prices are reasonable.

ive had a few items off the menu as ive been multiple times, their wings are really great and their steak was good too:)

Been there once after attending a Knights game at the Budweiser and enjoyed the ambiance. They had a solo singer, people of all ages were there. A friendly little corner bar.
