You know the BBQ is great, but did you try the Cheeseburger? It's the best burger in town! It was well fed with a smokey grill taste and is even better with a little grill sauce. Combine it with sweet potatories and a popper and it cannot be beaten!

Best food we had since the move to Missouri, put your hands down! Everyone was so friendly and patient with our loud party. We can't wait to go back! There was no single thing we don't like food, service or anything else. Make it a point to stop here... You won't regret it!

We're on the way south on the highway 5 and wanted to eat dinner. I Googled Restaurants in Versailles MO. Gilbert sounds good, so we stopped there. This restaurant is located in a historic building that contributes to the atmosphere. There's food very good. The servers went out their way to be helpful. I ordered the Sirloin. The server said that her cook would cook my steak to the desired fullness. She was right. I was perfectly cooked. The prices are very reasonable and the food was very good. In any case, everyone on Highway 5 recommends to Lake of the Ozarks.

Had a brisket entrée.. Absolutely marvellous tender melt in your mouth....awesome staff...highly recommend... Tks

Excellent Food, Great Service!! Will be taking family and friends to this establishment. The owner, Gilbert, has great passion and hear which shows in his food and his excellent staff! He spent some time visiting with us tonight!!! Top notch place!!!

Best brisket ! I am originally from Kansas City and there bbq ranks right up there with the best of them! And love the down home service
