guesses after a zillion years, too late to change the names, but this is a fairly small, quite downhill diner with perfectly fine dining and a friendly server. Coffee refills always come and the eier benedict were good if not traditional. I would eat there again.

we are not going back. we sat in both, and I was looking at the kitchen area. a young man was the cook or helped the cook and he had on the dirtyest tea shirt. so very disgusting and inconvenient to say at least. if his clothes are so bad, what about his hand hygiene?

quiet brunch place that serves the best French toast I ever had. it was made perfectly with the embroidered apple zimt on the top. the great waitress was super nice and helpful all the time. I recommend to anyone to try this place because it definitiw a captivated cod delikatesse!

Always a good breakfast or lunch at OG! The staff are very nice too. Although it may be a lot of its charm, the place does look a little run down, and may need a coat of paint, but that totally doesn’t stop me from going, almost 1 a month now. Thank you, Original Gourmet, for awesome food and cozy ambiance.

The menu looked amazing and I was a little surprised that I haven’t eaten here despite living here for 10+ years. When I went to inquire about a table I received a lecture from the woman at the front desk about food temperature and service. I was so confused I just wanted a table for 6 people. Additionally, when I went outside to talk to the rest of my party she stuck her head out the door and interrupted our conversation TWICE with more “information”. I ended up leaving before being seated because being harangued by the staff before I sat down and was conferring with my family about seating plans just seemed like too much work.

My family has loved the Original Gourmet Brunch for decades. We don't get to the Cape as often as we used to, but my mom and I were fortunate to stop by this October for breakfast.Since it was off season, there was plenty of seating available and the restaurant wasn't crowded, which made for a relaxing breakfast outing.I got the Belgian waffle which is super delicious and buttery. Their hot chocolate is also a must order. I loved how they put the whipped cream in the cup and I could pour over the hot cocoa myself, making for a mess free drink.Don't miss this breakfast spot, you won't be disappointed!
