My favorite dish has been lasagna for years, and Grano has now been called the best lasagna I've ever had. The first bread display is not only beautifully presented, but also delicious, includes bread, pear and honey... We ordered seafood cream soup (forgot the name), lasagna, ravioli, tortolini, pizza, chocolate dessert, tiramisu, Moscato w sage and everything was delicious... The first time for me, but not for the rest of the family... Many couples in the smaller tables, but 8 of us sat in the rear area, which is somehow cut off, I think it may fit a party of 12 or more. They also sit outside The waitress and waitress were perfectionist and the boss/owner also came out to welcome us, perhaps because the place was busy, but was overloaded and allowed him to come out of the kitchen. I will recommend this delicious food with exceptional service to everyone... Great job cook and team

Hubby had a 12-hour day full of tests in City of Hope and I wanted to treat him for a special dinner. Hands down the best Italian food we ever had! But it wasn't just the food it was all the experience.our server Brynn was sweet and attentive, Fabrizio sat down with a map of Italy and showed us to visit all the big spots when we finally got there on a day..The owner came to our table and tortured us.. The Pinot Noir was amazing, the Italian beer was like butter. so smooth. We started with Calamari! Then we chose handmade pasta with seafood and chicken parmigiana. And let me just say the potato puree that came with him was ridiculously good! Where do these magic potatoes grow??? Unlike anyone I've ever tasted. I'd just go back for them! The cream brûlée with real whipped cream and the chocolate dessert wine were just divine and a perfect evening intercepted! Very recommended!

You wouldn't think of finding an authentic Italian restaurant hidden in the Duarte Target Center, but let me tell you that this place is DELICIOUS! The pizza is a thinner crust that I enjoy, because the cheese tastes fresh and so delicious with fresh basil above, mmmm! Our party also ordered [vegan] gnocchi with marinara (arrabbiata style, if you are brave) and also chicken Alfredo. The chicken Alfredo plate is generous for a large eater. Chef Landi was so kind to welcome me at the first visit to pick up my order. We returned twice as I search for consistency in service and quality... it's here!

We used the Prix Fixe Valentine dinner last night. The selection of foods was not the usual fare you see in most places. It was upscale and perfectly presented and prepared. Four complete courses and started with a selection of two cocktails. Three options for starters, three choices for the first course, three choices for the main course and two dessert options. I wish we had brought a third person to order and share EVERYTHING. My husband and I have ordered various decisions, and each of us would have been sworn and still be as happy. The portions were generous, but with enough time to enjoy them without feeling hastened. The wine selection was good, and since the glass my husband asked was the last in a bottle and not full of it composed it and brought a complete glass of a similar variety at the same time. It was clear that the business (including the takeover) was moderate, but the staff was under pressure. It was always one of our favorite restaurants and last night they screamed!

We ended up here after Ren Faire because the Spaghetti Factory was busy. Never again will I go anywhere else after Faire. In fact, we're going to have to find reasons to make the trek to Duarte so that we can come back. The food is that good. The Focaccia is amazing. Fresh flat bread, pears, fried cheese, fresh honey divine. The Lasagna is fantastic. We also had half portions of the seafood and mushroom risottos sooooo good! Fabrizio, the chef, is truly inspired, and I think it's family run.

The most amazing Italian restaurant I have EVER been to. The chef came out to our table to make sure our food was delicious and his father was in from Italy providing amazing service. I truly felt like I was family! The food I cannot even try to describe because there are no words that can express the authenticity and flavors. I’m from Michigan and would consider moving to California just for this food!!!

This place has excellent and authentic food. I got the manicotti and the focaccia plate. Such a great place for a date night or fancy dinner. The owner is a very sweet man who obviously loves his restaurant and customers.

Huge room for size and at best, feel safe if you love places that buzz with energy and life. The place is usually crowded on weekends, so get there as early as possible. Food can take a little long at peak times but the service is always attentive, they also take good care of large groups and families with small children. Lots of choices for breakfast, I had french toast which was a gigantic portion and very tasty. Try vowel length marks on your way!
