I was searching for somewhere to eat in Papillon. Far more than I realized in a compact area. All sorts of foods, but this place grabbed my attention. I love Gyros, and haven 't been here. So, pulled up, went inside, and it has a style of Cafés of the past. I ordered with the gentleman behind the counter. I imagined he 's the propieter. I ordered the Gyro combo, has fries and a drink $10.26 not bad. My food is set on the counter, and I sit down and take a bite of HEAVEN this food is fresh and piping hot! Just the way I like it! In fact the thick cut flies, were so hot, they melted the styrofoam plate a little. After, eating, and full, not stuffed. I talked to the man serving the food. I said to him every Gyro place I 've been to to in Omaha and surrounding areas, I 've always left with a full belly He says to me we, (I assume the Greek people) want you leave not with an empty stomach I thanked him, and asked about a picture, of an older man on the wall. He said the man in the picture, was his father. His father had purchased the business from another man, (I 'm sorry I couldn 't understand all of the details, I did my best. He has an accent i couldn 't understand) But the just of it is, his father took it over at 62 years young, and kept working until the age of 89! All I can say is, if you like or love Greek food, stop in, I promise you 'll be glad you did.
