Food: 3/5 Service and Setting: 3/5 Value: 3/5 Sometimes a desire is so great that you have to embark on a trip to find that a meal or your entire week is simply ruined. For me, the poutine, a Canadian delicacies, was really rare in San Diego. After many investigations and disappointed to see that several restaurants, the Carne asada fries?Mexical Poutine?, literally cultural appropriation but I digress, H Brothers? poutine showed the most promise with its rich brown gravy and cheese curds. The entrance of the restaurant was modern and gave me North Italia Vibes, but as soon as you enter, the interior is eclectic and I dare to say Hipster. You order first, then sit down, your food finally comes to your table. The service was quick and friendly. Original Poutine: 3.5/5 That was the court I was hoping that H Brothers would satisfy my itch and I can say it did. I ordered mine with additional cheese curds, because from the pictures I saw, I wanted to make sure I had a lot of cheese for my fries. The overall composition of the plate was good. The frits they used were crispy and thick enough to handle the heavy heaviness and cheese. The engraving was rich with a very general type of brown gravy taste (think the instant or jarred fabric, but in the best possible way) and they did a good work with placing the perfect amount. I'll say it was a bit salty for my taste. The cheese curds are definitely more fluid than squeaky and were both mild and salty. The portion size is generous and can be easily divided as a side or appetizer with 2 or 3 persons. While it was tasty, the saltiness and the type of slandering of the entire bowl did not make it unforgettable. It's not a destination dish, but it's worth it when you're in the area. H Brothers Cheesesteak: 1/5 After the success of the poutins I was in complete shock tasting this cheese steak. The meat in this cheese steak is not prepared at all like a cheese steak. It tasted like deli slices of roast beef that you can buy in a bundle pack at Costco. It was thick, dry and tasted like old. This was not cooked or even reheated with onions, paprika or mushrooms, it was only served on the bungalow. The cheese bechamel was very thick and had a grittiness that I associated with Béchamel in general. This credibility was definitely exacerbated by the flesh. It was slightly cheesy and rich, not bad, but not really good. The ultimate kicker was that this sandwich with barbecue sauce and fried onions that completely destroy any level of cohesion. On a better note, I asked the person who served me if I could get more sauce because the sandwich was dry and he brought me a whole soup cup sauce, but I will be honest and say there was no redemption. I'm sure they have better articles, but dang, run away. I left my unmarried half because I knew I wouldn't eat it if I took it home? found this place on Google after several wineries in Escondido. Loves the mood, food, drinks and service. No complaints and in any case come back here. Much good beer on Hahn.

We ordered burgers, salads and soup. The briskets of my salad may not be as delicate as a Chinese. The service was very friendly and we also enjoyed the ambience.

Amanda Lydia are both amazing hostess. This was our first time trying H Brothers. The food was delicious and full of flavor. The customer service is second to none. Can wait to go back here next week. This place is a gem!!!

Amazing food and incredible service! We talked to the boss for a little bit, and he was so kind and helpful. The food was brought out fast and was very delicious. They have lots of options (gluten free, etc. available, and the prices are great for the location. We got the breakfast hamburger, monte cristo sandwich, crispy chicken dijon sandwhich, and the pork plate (GF . Each item was hot, fresh, and very yummy. Highly recommend for a cute local food spot in Escondido! ?

Great burger, great bier, and good service. They have a great menu that?s reasonably priced with some diverse specials. There is something for anyone in the menu and they have a full bar. I was here for lunch but it seems like it can come to life at night. It?s worth a stop off I-15 for a burger.

Came here to celebrate a birthday! It was our first time here and we all really liked it! The bar is spacious inside and the outdoor seating is really nice. I got the cheeseburger with onion rings and a side of hush puppies. It all tasted great! I'd definitely come back.
