recommend this restaurant! the food was so delicious with very decent price! we have tried both bark and calbi, both are very good. we came around 18 o'clock at a weekend night, although there are 10 groups ahead, but we didn't wait so long. it is worth waiting for every case. also they can choose takeout.

when we left the volcanic national park, we drove back to kona over hilo, when we noticed that this place was presented as the top 10 of diners drive intos and dives in hilo, so we thought we stopped there for dinner and it was fantastic. between the service fantastic and the meal is an amazing, especially the coconut cream pipe we found the entire meal and experience to be quite pleasant. I would highly recommend them? re in the opposite place and enjoy their food.

The waiting time for din-in was 40-55 minutes, so we decided to takeout instead. We said it would take 20 minutes, but it was actually faster. Both meals came with a decent part, and both tasted pretty good! We would probably come back if we visited Hilo in the future.

We had dinner here last night after we tried this place for a long time! Waiting wasn't bad, Google said the place wasn't too busy, but waiting was about 30 minutes. It was worth waiting! We started with the frits that were crispy and hot. All we got was delicious and great portions! If you? re a family that likes to eat this is the place for you! Make sure to look for the special features on the TV and ask the server what they are? Turn it off! We had several articles that are out and are not told until the moment we ordered. Not much, but always nice to know and not your hopes. Try it out!

Love this spot! As soon as you walk in , you are greeted with a smile and an Aloha! welcome. THE SERVICE: The host/manager (Jeffrey is very prompt about greeting you and also seating you. I was able to witness this over and over as it got busier and busier throughout the breakfast 'rush hour '. Service was very consistent for all the workers there. You can tell they run a tight ship! I was very impressed at the 5 star excellent service I received. As soon as I sat down I was greeted by another service/hostess/waitress who took my drink order within like 30 seconds of me sitting down. My Waitress (Heather was very attentive, friendly and on top of it. THE FOOD: There were so many delicious looking options on the menu , but I opted for the Omelette. It came with my choice of hash brown or rice, and pancake or waffle. (I ordered hash brown and ? waffle SO ONO!!!!! I would fly back to Hilo just to eat this same thing. The homemade whipped butter was to die for. It went beautifully with the soft but just crispy enough waffle THE PARKING: Lots of parking available in the parking lot next to restaurant. It 's a one way so you can loop around to find more Parking.

These guys get 5 stars because the service was amazing and the kids loved the food! We let the host know we had a plane to catch and we ordered, ate, and paid for 10 people (6 of which were kids) in less than 30 minutes. It was nothing short of a miracle and we are so happy they accommodated us. The kids loved their pancakes, the burger was huge, and the Loco Moco was classic Hawaii. The mac salad has peas and I think tuna in it for a nice change. Would definitely go back for the breakfast options next time.

Hawaiian Style Cafe is one of my favorite places on the Big Island. The food here is so good. So authentic. I eat here at least once every time I return. My favorite dish is the Garlic Chicken. But honestly, everything on the menu here is made with love and you will like it if you order it!
