mmmmm the mauna loa chicken is delicious. huh is tender, sauce is perfect. the Mac salad is surprisingly tasteful; I think there is a good help from black pfeffer in there! I'll be all over again next time. huge escaping area inside. service was friendly. I have the little part and regret, no more hahahahahahaha.

eating is always great, but the fact that this place has only chickens on camp every time I come here is why I don't come more often. only 1/3 of their menu is actually something you can order. no bark, no pork, only 2 chicken options available for the entire menu. I don't understand why it's so hard to get bark meat on the menu. I hope they will have it next time.

I would like to mention very much the maid maria on the 23rd location in salem. I went in to place a recess arrangement and when I arrived there was a line of about 9 people. some might think that a lot of people sounded in (as I would) but maria did it perfectly! I was in charge for less than 5 minutes. during the consideration that it was the midday hour.) while I waited for order, I observed that Mary got every customer with a fantastic smile and asked her how it went day and in each of the unpleasant empty signs in the conversation (I really wished that I had this ability.) her service did not stand there while she waited for that my order was prepared to get her very much, she continued. great young lady, she and her manager should be very proud.

that was my first time here. I noticed that they don't wear bark like most other Hawaiian restaurants I was. the beside dishes they offer are already part of the main dishes ( rice, salat and makkaroni), so that was surprising. I had ordered a mixed plate (chicken and pig) but it turned out that they ran out of pork. I was happy with the taste. condiment flake and the counter on which they were located were sticky and dirty looking. When I finished eating, they had at least wiped the counter.

I ordered the Huli Huli Chicken yesterday and it’s great! The only “complain” I have is that there’s no other sides besides the Mac Salad and the chicken because the rice portion is a lot. I recommend that if you’re a small eater, you should share one regular sized plate with another person because that’s what I did and I’m already full! Besides the food, the “waiting” part took a long time- maybe because there’s lots of people buying from there. In summary, I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat big portions of rice if they’re there!

They were very busy, with both takeout and people dining in, which was a very good sign. There was one young woman working the front counter taking orders and distributing the takeout orders, and doing a wonderful job of handling it all. At one point she called out that there would be a 10 wait until more orders came out, and NOBODY MINDED. This is always a sign that this is a place that the locals love I ordered the Mauna Loa Chicken Hawaiian spicy, and it was perfect. I will definitely be back.

I’ve had huli huli chicken in Hawaii, at home and couple other places and there is always something wrong with either the chicken or the rice or the Mac salad. I gave this place a 5 star bcuz not only the chicken was tasty, the rice and Mac salad was cooked to perfection! I normally find the chicken and rice to be good or a combo of Mac and chicken but never 3 combos! The chicken was soft and cooked to perfection. There is enough amount of spices that this chicken was so delicious to bite on. There are other places that chicken is either too salty or not enough salt or too much sauce. I admit I do not like Mac salad but this one, I can eat it all day. The pasta was soft enough, enough creaminess to it, salt and pepper are distributed really well. I mean it was absolutely fantastic! The rice…wow! I’m Asian and rice is important to me and this rice…I need to know where they got it ? A MUST place to go! I don’t like Salem but for this food…I will go weekly! And I lived an hour away from this place! Come early cuz the wait was fairly long! But it is so worth the time!
