Hibachi Express

The lady who works at the reception and takes orders should not be customer service. It is very rude and contemplative and has no polite attitude in its voice and in its actions. As the first person communicating with the customer, you would think you have a kind of professionalism, but no. I hope she's not the owner because it's even more sad. An older couple came to the restaurant before me and she was nothing but rude to them, basically forced to tap them, which is extremely unprofessional. Eating is okay, but the people who work there need a post check. I wouldn't come back even if the food was perfect.

My wife and I got Hibachi cooked the vegetables under and there was so much water in the bottom of my container it turned into soup. The sushi was not bad, but did not get much and we all have the same role instead of two different types as we ordered. disappointment for the money.

Worst Sushi I ever had it. Rice was muddy and terrible taste. Large part of Hibachi, rice was fine, vegetables fine, but salmon was so overcooked and BURNED that it was hard to bite through. We asked the server if he was supposed to be like that on which he gave a dry yes and went before we could pay attention to how bad it was. Unfortunately, it was the first and last time there.

Great food. Ordered here a few times from the all day menu and lunch menu have not been disappointed. Food tastes delicious, the service is pretty fast also. We?ve tried the shumai, hibachi and sushi, and we loved all of it.

My mother and I ate here for the first time tonight. Very disappointed with the food and especially the service. When told we were new customers, the man acted like we were putting him out. Everything except the salad left much to be desired. Bland and Expensive to be expected to eat with plastic too. Will not return. Tried sushi, dumplings, spring rolls, hibachi beef with vegetables. Awesome food! This was my first time ordering from Hibachi Express. We ordered online and got the fried shrimp appetizer, gyoza, seaweed salad, Valrico roll, Mexican roll, Philadelphia roll, ans the steak hibachi. Everything was fantastic and even though it was a Friday night, our order was ready within 15 minutes. Prices were reasonable and service was great. Will definitely be back.

This place is very clean and mindful of COVID safety. The food is delicious and fresh. Service is fast even when they are busy. The staff is friendly and helpful. I like the location too because there is ample parking, something that can be hard to find in Valrico. We ordered a sushi party tray and it was a hit with the whole family. Definitely try them out!
