Hickory Creek Park and Marina is a great place to go camping, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, riding the trails. You also have an Old Time Country Cafe with excellent food. Reservations are online at Reservation. Gov
Beautiful location with campsite and amenities nearby. I was surprised by the Marina hours of operation: 1000 1500 makes for a few short days, so bring your own snacks and gasoline when you are closed during the times and days they are closed!
One of the cheaper places to save your boat on the lake. Store is open until 6 o'clock, but typical higher prices on the lake but nice when you forget something. It is south of Highway 12 bridge, which has low bridge freedom, with the water high in recent years is a problem. Most docks are protected from wake-up.
Food was really good and the staff was very friendly. I ate the all you can eat ribs for $11.99. Really worth the money.
I went riding on my motorcycle and it was such a great place to visit. Great scenery and spots to make your BBQ admiring it. I'll definitely go back there soon.
