Historic Ute Inn

After looking at my options in this beautiful but small town, I decided to try this historic location and see what they had to offer.

I want to give a good review on this establishmentHowever, I just can't.

Came early evening for dinner with a toddler, the owner quickly got us some animal crackers and chatted with us a little. Waitress recommended the fat girls fries and they did not disappoint. The Rancher Burger also looked great. Loved the establishment and hospitality!

The original restaurant page is closed for redesign (in a coffee shop), but the bar page is still open for food. My wife and longed for our last visit a few years ago, and it was still great. My son's chicken teeth were also quite extraordinary. Get back when we're in the area!

This was our first time and can't wait to go back. The food was amazing and the service was so good. They smoke meat everywhere.

Never would have expected this place to be as good as it was. My group and I ate on the bar side of the inn, and it’s a proper dive. It’s old, beat up, and has kind of a musty smell to it, but it’s somehow not dilapidated or dirty. It’s just old, it has character, and it’s completely trustworthy. I got a Fish Chips plate that rivaled some of the better Fish Chips I’ve had anywhere in the country or in the UK. Other people in my party had the sandwiches and smoked meats, and everybody enjoyed their meal. The local charm here is off the charts. Stopping here for a drink and a meal should be an easy call for anybody visiting town.
