I was the second best date of a special lady in this bar. (Natalie in conversation with you). Also great atmosphere, friendly staff and great beers on tap.

My friends and I were just there for a few drinks a few weeks ago, but we were never and were pleasantly surprised! It was warm and cozy and the service was wonderful! We didn't eat there, but the food looked fantastic! I'm usually not on the west side of the city, but will definitely go back there when I'm in the area!

It was a great surprise to discover this place served breakfast as it was hard to find a copy of the breakfast menu anywhere. We were nearby and decided to check if they served breakfast. This was our first time to eat here, and we were shocked to learn that it was here for 45 years, as the interior was so modern and untouched. My husband even said it looked like Bar Rescue was there recently. We had the best breakfast, my husband and the special Egg Bruschetta, and peach Drallbrot, and then we share a breakfast Burrito minus the sausage. Breakfast Buriotto was nothing special, but the other two items were delicious. The Bruschetta was decorated with sweet fresh tomatoes and a delicious balm glaze. Our server told us they have a cook loves to make baked goods, and always comes with big breakfast pastries. The bread we had was so moist and tasty. We enjoyed how the staff was all family, and the mother of our server worked behind the bar 88 years old and works there daily. They know that this place is their true passion when they still manage to get to work at this age. I would go every day across the diners in the area that have long waiting times and sub-standard food.

This place is my favorite restaurant and bar, their customer service top notch, their menu top notch even their customers very friendly and very professional, thank you guys AAAAAAAAA

Ickabods is a friendly neighborhood sports bar located in downtown Beaverton. They open every day at 9am. The menu offers breakfast items till 1pm along with a lunch/ dinner menu. This is a 21 and over only establishment that offers on site video lottery. Ickabods is a family owned and operated business established in 1979. A friend and I recently visited Ickabods for a relaxing breakfast and cocktails. Our Bloody Marys were tasty and good enough for seconds. I ordered the eggs benedict made vegetarian. The chef kindly substituted avocado for the meat. I would love to see more vegetarian items such as a veggie burger on the menu. My friend ordered the chicken fried steak and pronounced it the best around. Service was prompt and friendly. Before leaving, we had the pleasure of meeting the delightful owner Bonnie who is 87 years young. She has a warm and sparkling personality. Chatting with her was like talking to a dear friend. I highly recommend Ickabods!

The food is constantly good. My 'go to ' is the pulled pork sandwich.This time I had the southern fried chicken bites. They were great as always. (My 2nd go to dish)My friend had never had them. She was astounded... the sweet honey chili sauce makes chicken bites an entirely different meal. Of course the chicken is tender and fried to a crispy golden brown.Last time I had the brisket. Normally I have their house salad and home made honey mustard dressing.Over many years, I 've sampled the entire menu... not one 'dog '. Everything is above average and the pork is the best within 50 miles or more.Next time I 'll revisit the baby back ribs.Do NOT miss this established neighborhood pub!Well, I visited today, 12/26/2022.This time I brought my friend, Jason. Somehow, he had listened to a mutual friend who found fault with Ickabod 's and avoided it.Luckily, he trusts my judgement when it comes to food so he joined me tonight. I 'll say he 's glad he did!I took a few photos knowing that I 'd want to do another review. Some were in the men 's room to compare it with recent eateries I 've reviewed.NOTE! Even though I had lunch at the senior center a snack here was attractive.BLT salad with honey mustard dressing, a coke and a peanut butter pie to go! We stopped here for breakfast after a visit to the Columbia employee store, the food was super tasty and the staff was wonderful. This place has a welcoming neighborhood vibe. If you are offered a homemade breakfast appetizer be sure to order it, you won't be disappointed.
