we had a nice meal at istanbul blue. the food was excellent, and the service was good. the only part was that it was a bit cool in the room.
I ordered spinach pastures. very tasty. simple parking space.
the food was excellent, especially the meat. desserts (milk pudding and rice pudding) were unforgettable. in any case they want to dinate here again soon!
The waiter was very nice, but there was a bit of a communication issue. Service was also very slow. The lighting is way too bright. Felt like you were eating in a loud diner.
Lovely atmosphere, great service. Diverse menu. The starters were great. Fantastic eggplant and a yogurt with fresh cucumber and mint. The Greek salad was a real standout. The waiter steered me toward a delicious lamb dish with vegetables and yogurt. Outstanding. Plenty of parking. We didn't have room for dessert. Reasonably priced with entrees around $20. Good value.
We sat upstairs and felt the staff forgot about us. We never received the ice with our entrees. Been here before and had a completely different experience.
You can hardly go wrong with Turkish food, and Istanbul Blue is a good example for a combination of delicious food and very attentive service. We cannot say much about the ambience it was Trick or Treat night, and I believe we were the only guests, so it was a bit quiet fora night out. But all together it was a very pleasant dining experience. We will be back.
