Jake's Diner

I'll visit Jake's Diner on the battlefield for lunch. My favorite is the Chicken Philly Sub. The chicken is delicate and juicy and mix the flavors from the other ingredients well. The sub is honest enough for two meals.

That was my first time at dinner. I was there with a friend. There were many parking spaces. Our server brought a wrong salad for my friend. It wasn't even close to what she had ordered, but my guest ate it somehow, so it wouldn't be wasting. I ordered a hamburger with salad, tomatoes, onion and Mayo, along with one side of Fritten. My fries were hardly warm, but my burger tasted good. My server didn't check us back for a while, so my guest distributed a bottle of ketchup from a table over the room. There was very little customer service, but it wasn't because she was waiting on other tables. When the other guests left in the restaurant, tables stayed dirty for a while and she seemed casual to chat with another employee. We had to request a box for the salad and our bill because the service was so bad. Due to the pandemic, personnel shortages are understandable. But if I get table service, I expect better than what I got. Much better. It is unlikely that in the near future I will return to this restaurant at any time because the wrong food is brought out and the very bad waiting service.

My server was very nice, place was on the day of my visit to its capacity, but we take care of ourselves quickly. My food was really good and I enjoyed it

I live about 15 miles away and it is worth the drive. 4 locations in greensboro. Food is awesome, grilled asparagus my favorite

Cold food was okay, but called and asked if a food separator could be used on my hot items so they wouldn't taste like styrofoam. The girl who answered the phone said she would do it, but you could tell by how she sounded that it wasn't going to get done...and it didn't. My hot items once again melted through styrofoam and tasted like it.

We usually eat at jakes diner once every couple weeks and I think I found something I like the best right now the Philly Cheesesteak. The bread was soft and the fillings inside was really good. The fries was good with some ranch. Waitress was really nice too. I like the facility on north battleground

Got the Sunday blue plate special which was their fried chicken. Chicken was well fried and looked very crispy. Unfortunately it was almost cold and not seasoned very well. The waitress was happy to replace it and apologized several times. The next batch came out hot but tasted reheated a second time in the grease. Still no seasoning on the bird. Had green beans and Cole slaw as my side's. Great slaw, beans underseasoned. The wife enjoyed her tereaki wings and Mac and cheese. Homemade chips were a little cold. Much better chicken to be had in town so I'll pick something else from the menu if I return.
