I love this place. I love the service. I love the staff. And I love the food. They are so sweet, so helpful and just friendly. Your service is something of the best service I've ever had. They are so thorough and thoughtful when the food is repaired. I love coming here for breaks and it's so delicious. That's why they stay packed and busy. Great place for breakfast or lunch!!
This is a holder... I used to eat here with my grandfather 25 years ago as a child and decided to stop breakfast while in the area and what a wonderful little place that is!! The food was fresh and cooked to order. It was not dry or boiled. I just ordered my eggs and my whites were not like rubber and my whole yellow was casual. The bacon tasted neither carburized nor crushed on contact. I was really impressed with the food and the staff. I will definitely eat here again and cannot wait to taste the rest of the menu.
It's worth the ride of Winston! I wish I could come more often! I've told all my friends about it since I left a few weeks ago. The food was so delicious!!! Absolutely wonderful South cuisine and hospitality!
It's rare to find a place that has been open for 60 plus years, much less one that is located off of the beaten path. The food is vintage/amazing, and the prices reflect its vintage feel. $5.85 for hamburger steak with two sides and rolls. Oh... and the desserts are incredible.
Nice clean and quaint local place with great food and nice people. They actually had decaf coffee which was good also.
