very loud for a restaurant atmosphere, for which I and my friend were not prepared or expected. they seem to be a bit higher than their typical place to eat, so I expected that I would be able to talk to the person about me. Unfortunately, we decided not to talk all evening dinner because it was just so loud. Additionally, eating was just ok and was nothing special. for the price I expected a little more from the food and atmosphere.
the calamari is terrible. I don't know why a high resturant would not know how to properly prepare it when they charge it like it.
good service and a drink menu. the grilled brussels are always delicious. my son loved his rub and my daughter loves her fish and chips our waitress was great!
Fabulous food. Unique items you don't see on other menus. Great service. One of the best salads (Salmon n Brussels) I've ever had.

Love having breakfast at Johnny Blacks Lake House. A fun menu with choices from decadent pancake and french toast options, to healthy choices. The fruit is always fresh, and the staff is helpful and friendly. They really work as a team to make guests feel welcome. My favorite order is the Southwest Omelette with avocado on top, and substitute a fruit cup instead of potatoes and toast. Johnny Blacks is a great way to start your day.
Great service and really good food. Pleasant atmosphere. Tried for the first time and already plan on it being one of my regular choices.
