Kim's Bakery

I love that there is a Korean bakery in the St. Louis region, and the prices are so good. Some days stretch only savory pastries with hotdogs baked in them, or fatty vegetable croquettes, or bean-based buns, or cream-filled buns with a variety of shapes. Can't wait for an apology to order one of their beautiful cakes!

Buying a fruitcake for my friend's birthday. Cake wasn't so great, but they had a slightly available one that had no other cake maker in the area. That's the only positive.

Very cozy location with a delicious selection of baked goods. I definitely come back to get one of the cakes!

Offers many different Korean pastries and baked goods and they are all very good! Definitely recommend giving this bakery a visit. I was told they only have Hotteok on the weekends.

We stopped in and didnt know thwy were closed. They were very nice about it and even let us purchase items. Let me tell you that these were the most magical things ive ever eaten. The cake was put into this amazing box that kept it safe the entire hour drive back even with breaking. The most elegant looking cake I've ever bought. When we opened it, not only did it come with a knife but it tasted like pillows of chocolate heaven. Will not be buying a cake from anyone else for an adult ever again. All the pastries were amazing also. We ate most of them the same night.

Referred by a friend. Ordered my son's 13yr bday cake, it was perfection.They have great sweet and savory snacks. Always serious attention to detail... as flavor AND presentation seem to mean a lot to them. Not enough time in the day to try everything they have to offer. Cant wait to go back!

So yummy! Purchased: Buttercream bread Almond tart Chocolate chip cookies (forgot the actual name of them, but they 're right in front of the register) marble cake Buttercream bread tasted like it was freshly made, not too much buttercream, not too little. I took a bite and gave some to my boyfriend. By the time I turned around for another bite, his face was covered with buttercream and he looked like he got caught trying to eat the rest by himself. I think it 's safe to say he loved it! Almond tart The crust looked hard, but it was so easy to chew into it was almost like bread. So good!! Marble cake I have yet to try it still (will update) Chocolate chip cookies we went cheers in the car as soon as we rang out to try it at the same time and it was so good!! Very soft, crumbled in your mouth, and then melted. As a person who isn 't a fan of too much chocolate, I appreciated the small bits not overwhelming me. I contemplated going back in to buy more, but they will just have me come back for more even though I live closer to the city. All in all, it was definitely worth the drive back! I drove here yesterday only to see that it was closed. It 's okay, it was my bad for not checking the hours before I left my house. I was just so excited, and for good reason!
