We were visiting from England. My daughter in particular loves sushi. We booked a table in advance on line after reading all of the excellent reviews. We weren't disappointed. The service and the food were first class. And a good price as well. Just wished we lived a bit nearer!! We would be in there all the time. Highly recommended.

Owned by a very sweet Japanese family. We eat a lot of sushi but we liked it here because it was different. They add their own little twist to popular sushi dishes. They spicey agidashi tofu was great. They family is very friendly and kind, you can tell they area passionate about the food they create.
This cozy place fits roughly 16 sit-down customers but you get the full attention of the artful chef and the sweet server when you dine here. Sushi and sashimi were so fresh and tasty -- the food really stood out in quality. I was in shock. I have eaten run-of-the-mill Japanese restaurant food too long. And the udon soup?! There was so much flavour and substance in the broth that my kids wanted to ORDER MORE. That has never happened in any restaurant we've visited, and they are sooo fussy. The only downside we can see is that service can be slow if the place is busy. We are definitely coming back.
My friend and I were so appreciative of the care that is put into these meals. Eva and her chef husband pour their love into each plate and into each guest.
I love the friendly owners and the great food. I bring all my friends there. Try the Awesome, Angry and Boston Rolls.One of the only places in this area that is open on a MONDAY!!
Under new ownership, they've dropped the bento boxes (too bad, they were great) but greatly increased the sushi selections. Innovative and highly flavoured, generous portions. Great udon noodle soups and seaweed etc salads. Need to add a seafood udon to the menu, but otherwise a complete sushi range. Only about 8 tables holding 2, occasionally 4 so may be full at peak times. fairly fast for a sushi place too.
Kissako Sushi is a fabulous small cafe run by a young couple! They put a lot of love and care into all of the food that they prepare. The food is exceedingly tasty, fresh, and beautifully presented. I will return time and time again to Kissako!
Big menu with lots of delicious rolls to choose from. Excellent quality sushi fish. Small and cozy but our kids loved it and the staff was sweet - it felt family friendly.
