great happy hour! eating was good, service was fast and attentive!
We walked in at for our reservation and the host seem confused but we were finally taken to our table. The signature draft beer was out of stock, but we did purchase bottles of beer. The entire evening seemed kind of rushed even though the place was empty. The wave rolls were generally tasteless and the quantity was small. Our main dishes were each and also lacked any real flavor. The chicken listed as âmacadamianâ Looked and tasted like frozen breaded reheated chicken breast. Even with an OpenTable discount, it was not worth the time or the money
wish kona’s connection with opentable would connect to the open table app that we are already connected to here. our meal does not appear on the kona app and the open table reservation does not appear on our open table app that we had for many years. they need beta tests.
My family and I went to the restaurant to celebrate my husbandâs birthday. We were rushed to order the waitress came to the table to ask if we were ready every minute. We had to wait for the food almost minutes. I ordered a Kona Stir Fry and it was cold and it looked like the chef only served the regular portion. My husband ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and they gave him tofu. The waitress took it back to the kitchen and when they brought it back it was cold and didnât taste good. The whole experience was disappointing. The employees didnât acknowledge the error with the food and didnât apologize for the mix up or the wait. We have been to Kona a few times, but this one was definitely the last time.
We were a table of nine with cocktails, appetizers and meals. Our server kept on top of all of our demands no problem at all. All of the food we got was amazing with the exception of the PadThai which lacked flavor and the presence of any vegetables. Not a cheap place to eat by any means, but sometimes you have to celebrate
