Although the waiter tried to point out that they have a tandoor oven, it was easy to see that none of the foods in this type had been cooked by many. tandoor garne were cold and slightly larger than matane garnel; chicken tikka probably boiled on the grill was tender but cold; nan brot was cold, very pale looking and did not wear the brands of a tandoor ofen; butter huhn was warm with tender chicken, probably cooked on the grill. the dahl suppe was good and hot. also a small proportion of rice was cold. I ordered burgundy wine for $55, and the waiter (probably manager or owner) reduced the price to $40 when he saw that we were behind most of the food and did not want to take it home. a nice gesture, but I'm not going back.

great food store with many vegan options. there is also a bistro where you can order to take out or eat clearly labeled on the terrace with vegan options. my 5 star rating is only on the food business, not the bistro, as I did not eat there. updated by previous review on 2021-06-10

We were very excited to try Villa Wellington because we'd heard such good things and it always seems packed. Unfortunately, we weren't blown away. The food was just ok and the server was super nice but it took a really long time to get our bill. It is definitely a good place to eat if you care more about portion size than anything else. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, but my meal of beef and noodles just felt like an average Chinese food dish. The highlight was definitely the dessert that we shared of a puff pastry with pineapple custard. Delicious! All in all, with all the cool restos in the city this isn't a restaurant I would go back to. Also, the washrooms were quite sketchy which turned me off from the get-go. Feel free to make your own opinion. It's clearly a very popular resto.
