I visited this last Tuesday totally enjoyed my experience, so I thought I would drop my review. I was surprised not to see all 5 stars. It was highly recommended by many you have tried the pub yet) so I took the time to read the non-5 star reviews. Everything said the service was excellent and it was true, the service was fantastic! The food was good and that was true. I ate every bite, I was so full when I left! The place was clean, the meat cut was high quality. Not even the bad reviews had something negative about the actual restaurant, the staff, the atmosphere, nothing to justify a bad review. They were at the expense of comparing chain restaurants. I expected to pay a little more for the historic area. What I did not expect were the friendly accommodations that were given as they really appreciate my business. Wow I felt like this was my place to go if I didn't live in North Carolina! I visited my brother Sister Inlaw, whom I know, will now be frequent customers. I like these people, I like the history of decorations, I like the food, I liked the temperature they held the room, I liked everything about this place! Then they came to the table and said, select a number on Tuesday, you can roll the dice when the number you get comes the whole table will be free! There were 5 of us, so it was a risk for them. We chose 9 but rolled 4 so no we won, but it was sure fun to think we could!! So back to the cost. You get what you pay for. I'm sure these customers don't enjoy a 3 star rating on the job they do. They do the best in their trade in the city! They don't want a wage cut to like them either. I guess they don't understand. Very recommended!

We went to Valentine's Day. Beautiful salmon and southwest chicken. The strawberry and peach cobblers have taken off the meal.
I recently moved to the area, and while I ventilated and over reviewing the landscape I stumbled on this absolutely amazing place, words can not express how much the management and staff have felt welcome and much more than just a customer. This fantastic dining is a must, incredible food, great service, fantastic music, prices that cannot be beaten, and the atmosphere is wonderful from the charts.stop in and treat yourself and enjoy Sara, Tim, Erica, Courtney and the other fantastic staff!

What a great find while traveling through! The bartender was so friendly and funny! She just made us feel like old friends! One of the regular customers stopped in and made us feel like a local, even bought us a round of drinks!! You don't find people like that anywhere...it was great! The food was freshly made with and the Chicken Poblano soup was the best I have ever had...need the receipe! We learned a lot about the area rodeo with all the fascinating photos on the walls. We will be back next time we travel South!

A great place to stop for lunch or dinner. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and attentive almost psychic. The bartender (Maybe the owner? , Joe was great to talk to. He suggested the catfish, and it was delicious, unlike any other catfish I've ever had. The tomato dill soup, get out of here. It is now my husband's favorite tomato soup, he ordered TWO bowls of it, he loved it that much. The pinto beans were really good, I wish I had asked if they had cornbread. We ordered the cobblers to go and haven't eaten them yet, but if they are anything like the rest of the meal, we can die happy and full. (Pro tip on the catfish, order the mushroom gravy and diced chilis with it, put both of those things on top. You can thank me later.
