I went there for the first time on recommendation today. Everything in this bakery looks delicious. I ordered the blueberry bread pudding and it was perfectly satisfied with a cappuccino I ordered. Love they have milk alternatives. I also ordered their spinach Burek and Bulgarian cheese Burek and both were delicious with a light, crispy and flaky dough. I have to go back and more. That was a great meal.
Big French bakery! absolutely loved his Brie Baguette and Mango tart!! Absolutely come back to get more of it.
Martine's is conveniently located right in the Scarsdale Village. Simply immerse for a fresh croissant and coffee. I love going to get bananas bread or a cake (this time I have a blueberry lemon crumbcake) before visiting a friend. It's a nice product to bring someone's house. I've had LOTS of pies in my day, but this mixed berry pie was one of THE BEST EVER. We don't really like Birthday cake, but the pie and pastry were beyond superb. The little coffees are chocolate mousse cups that are entirely edible. The purple pastry is a remarkable delicate and light pastry with lavender and dragon fruit. Anyone who gives this shop less than 5 stars has 1) NEVER baked anything remarkable or 2) has no clue how difficult it is to run a successful bakery nor 3) has ever served as a counter person and has no clue how hard it is to serve people. Pay them no mind...they are clueless and entitled. This place is TOP NOTCH and the counter people are so kind and efficient. Run don't walk to Martine's!!!
it was good yes. I was just confused what I was eating. Hope they stop putting gumballs on the viola. It was too Avant-garde for my taste. Will come again. Suuuper charming.
I have tried just about every pastry, cake, cookie and sandwich here. Never disappointed always amazed!
I just finished eating a apple critter and while the crust was delicious and overall the flavor was great, but if you cut an apple into twelve pieces and then make twelve apple critters you know just how much apples you have in your apple critters and I for one love apple pies and so to ovoid disappointment I don't buy apple pie I make my own, I think you get where I'm going with this first apple critters from Martini Bakery and last one sorry.
