Amazing and friendly family-oriented staff. Genuine people preparing really brilliant food. I never had anything I didn't like. I was told the oxtail was supposed to die four. I consider it for my next order. Mark us an attentive wise owner and loves to be the hands. A must stop trying beef ribs are from this world.

Great food has been here twice before and the food was fantastic every time. So far I had the fried chicken and the rubber bear was so good the chicken. Was beautiful and crispy the rubber bears had an amazing taste. I also had the peach fucker and that was fantastic I highly recommend this place because I will definitely go back and get something new.

The food was absolutely amazing. Pricing is incredible and hostess made sure we had all we needed. This is for sure a go to. Make sure you don?t have to drive far because you will get sleepy after how awesome the food, feel and music is. My new spot. Truly a Gem.

First time having soul food in LA, it was LIT!! This was some of the best shrimp I've ever had. It was tender, crisp fresh!! I had the catfish too but the shrimp is where it's at!! The customer service was bomb too, shorty with the locks gives good recommendations.

This place is the real deal for Cajun food. Very friendly staff and owner, so legit Louisiana hospitality. The gumbo roux was rich and well spiced. Gives my granny's a run for her money. My girlfriend loved the shrimp etouffee and she's pretty particular when it comes to seafood dishes. Lastly, best hush puppies I've had, hands down. If you like Cajun food or are interested in trying the real thing, do yourself a favor and check this place out.

It was very pricey for the portion but the food was great. I hate how their processes are antiquated. There is not online ordering nor is there a system for determining how long of a wait you will endure. I was told by Vanessa my food would be ready 20-25 minutes, it ended up taking close to an hour(exact total wait time 55 minutes). Most of the food was warm except for the shrimp, it was cold. As for the brisket, request lean if you don?t want fat because they will give you the pieces with fat and not good at all if you?re a meat person. Macaroni salad was amazing. The fries were also good. The shrimp was good too. I like how thick the shrimp was. The pork chop was plain it was still good. Overall the food was great. The customer service was alright. I believe I wouldn?t go back due to wait time because it was too long of a wait on that side of town after ordering.
