Mountain Mercato

Late Breakfast, lunch or early dinner you can find something light and suitable here. They use their own fresh herbs, coffee is awesome and generous. Deck, patio or tables inside, always a wonderful place to hang out or meet up with locals.

Mountain Mercato has amazing coffee and breakfast sandwiches! Everything tasted homemade and fresh. Indoor and outdoor seating. Clean restaurant and friendly staff. They also have a small market with some gourmet foods.

We were lucky enough to come across Mountain Mercato last weekend, we stopped in to check it out. We new it had to be great considering the line up!!! We stood in line and ordered our food and drinks, and then found a place to sit on their lovely patio. The coffees and food were outstanding, it was truly a wonderful experience to have hand crafted Panini's with such wonderful fresh farm to table ingredients at such a fair price point. I chatted with one of the very knowledgeable staff about how and where there food ingredients are sourced from. It was so refreshing to come across a small business committed to serving the best possible product and not looking to save a buck by buying from traditional large food distribution. The market side of things was just as impressive, if you are a foodie this place is a must to check out!! They have a selection of beautiful food product from all over the world.10/10 for this place! I also inquired if they did any catering or gift boxes.. of course they do! how cool!don't stop here if you are looking for a quick coffee, do stop here if you want to experience something out of the norm, something exceptional! coffee, food, beer and wine on one of the best patio's in the Bow Valley.

Family wanted to go to this place because they told us it was excellent. We ordered lattes at the front and I wasn't sure if they were supposed to bring it to us or not. I thought they would just give it to us and that was it. Anyway, we got a flower and waited to get our coffees + slice of pie. It honestly took forever and when the waitress brought our coffees, it was all over the place. Coffee had spilled in the plate. Thanks god, they provided us with a plate or it would have been on our hands. We had to ask the waitress to bring us some napkins. She was young so I guess she just didn't know. That's ok. Pie was not handmade with cherries out of a can. Disappointing since we paid $4 a slice + lattes were $5. Lattes were good but definitely overpriced considering the service.

We stopped in for a mid afternoon drink ....excellent coffee, a strawberry / lemonade drink and veggie water. The service was quite good.....the drinks were great. This establishment also has pasta, oils....sauces and many other great condiments. The sandwiches at the next table looked awesome.

I stopped here for a quick bowl of soup. The Alberta tomato soup was unlike anything I ever had! it was delicious and I wish I had gotten a big bowl instead of a small bowl. Served to you outside with a nice crust of bread. They had a variety of sandwiches and other choices as well. Would love to come back here and eat again!

The food at Mercato is excellent and the coffee (Phil and Sebastian) outstanding. The happy hour specials are great, where you can get an antipasto plater and wine for half price. Great service. Love this place for breakfast and lunch.
