Ocean Paradise

the reservation was not valid, the restaurant was closed. a note on the door where the restaurant is closed by the 25th of December and the name of the restaurant is changed to the paradies of the oceans.

it was very mediocre. they were bland and all broth. You think they were frozen. green beans were greasy and overcooked. roasted crab, but nothing to help us open the crab? almost empty on a Saturday night. Now I know why. this place will not take much longer unless they dramatically change their food. the service was average.

Disorganized at the hostess stand. Made us wait 15 minutes to get seated because the hostess was disorganized and preoccupied. There was no one in front of us and we had a reservation. The server was ok but seemed rushed and when food was brought out it was the butter was dripping off the plate all over me and they didn't acknowledge mistake (accidents happen) but a simple apology would have been nice. Utensils would have been great also! Kudo to the other waitresses who was the one who got us seated after being observant of what was going on and who got us the crackers got the crabs. Very disappointed.

The food was ok and the service was good. There wasn’t anything special about the food’s flavors, but it was hot and fresh.

One of our party must eat low salt and our waitress went out of her way to be sure they accommodated him. My grouper was good but too salty for my taste buds.

This place was unique. As you approach and walk in your immediate thought is “Oh it’s a sports bar”. There are TVs everywhere, you can watch any sport program from anywhere in the dining room and into the bar. The menu is mainly seafood items with the usual fish and shell fish items. We got the half seafood tower, which is a low country boil. It can with shrimp, crawfish, clams, mussels, sausage, potato’s, corn, and snow crab claw clusters. It was a lot of food for two! I would recommend having the suggested sauce for the low boil on the side. Ours came out drench in butter, oil, and garlic. It was tasty, but the food in the bottom half became saturated in grease. I don’t like the name of the place “The Yummy Crab”, it’s not a Japanese steakhouse. I would come again, it’s a good family with kids spot and not overly priced.

Ordered “pick 2” seafood boil. Chose 2 lobster tails. Lobster was over cooked, red potatoes tasted leftover reheated and the corn on the cob was so over cooked it was soggy. The sausage was also over cooked. The flavor spices were good, just everything was over cooked.
