if they are white or black, or they are American, they will be better experience. as an asian they treated me badly. so bad. I came in and no one asks about my order, they always ask the others and not I was there for 17mins) and I come forward and ask em whether my order is ready or not, the guy who works there, just ssshh me and let the guy behind me talk that just came into the restaurant. Never forget that and never come to this place anymore.
highly recommended! the garnelentempura roll (right) scrap roll (left) are so good only $4.99 per. the crab krangoon is also delicious and also only $4.99 I looked over the rest of their menu and all their prices are so reasonable and the dame on the front was super helpful with recommendations. I also recommend ordering via their website, against food delivery apps (they kill small restaurants with fees). the only part of the online order is that they do not receive an email confirmation of their order, which is strange, but my order went through anyway.
Eating is sometimes very good, early on the day I suspect. but they could run out of ingredients.
Its a shame to say it especially since i discovered my love and appreciate for hibachi and sushi here, but more than not OEC has personally had their off days with me. Maybe its been a tat bit too busy and the staff was overworked that day but orders have came out wrong and the staff can be rude at times when people ask them questions.
I heard great reviews on this place, so I decided to try when on that side of town. I am so glad I did. It was amazing. I ordered shrimp and rice, and volcano rolls. My mind was blown by the amazing tasty of food, and professional preparation of dishes. They looked and tasted great. I was surprised a carry-out restaurant could be so good.
They must have a language barrier. We order food from them and one of the items was steak and broccoli yakaisoba. What I got was steak and broccoli only. I called to let them know and the only thing that the lady who took my order said was I ordered a side of steak and broccoli. At no time did I say side nor did I order any sides. She t then wanted me to bring my food back. Why would anyone go back after the person at the establishment tried to argue with you and basically call you a liar. I have order food from them many times but will not anymore. There are too many restaurants out there that want your business and I suggest going to one of them instead.
By far the BEST place to get sushi. I will not go anywhere else!
