Phil's Bbq

Open place on Monday afternoon. Informative manager, attentive service, good food and not too long wait for food. Beef ribs are my favorite. Not as delicate as previous visits. Well drinks seemed a little watered or low on gas.

Went to Phil's BBQ after my flag football game in Santee. The time it took for me to order, sitting at the bar to wait for my order and order a drink was just about 10 minutes. I had half a rack rib with a small tie and a small pommes. Food was very good and I watched the March Madness tournament while I ate. The drink was what you see on the glass on the photo. The staff was courteous and friendly. The ribs fell from the bones! I had a small left hand injury and ate the ribs with a hand. I recommend!

Cool place with country feeling and delicious food. BBQ is really good and portions are big. Meat always cooked properly. Service friendly and fast. Many TVs with sports channels.

I only order the Beef Ribs. They are so good. I like to add a habanero hot sauce to it and it’s perfect. For the sides the potato salad and the Fries are good. Due to COVID, they no longer take any phone take out orders. You have to drive there and order on the spot. Due to this reason, I will drive East to a less busy location. There are certain locations where you’ll have to wait much longer as they have higher volume of people coming in.

I was there Thursday night after a long road trip. I was welcomed and greated professionally by Joanna, she was patient with me and answered my questions about the menu. She even offered a sample to taste as I was not sure about sides. She was humble and patient with me. And the order was made fast. Her extraordinary customer service first and food quality second were the reason I bought another larger dinner to go for my family even though I have to drive about 3 hrs North and my family and kids loved the surprise dinner. Note, my second order was taken by Sheldon a great man with a great personality and excellent customer service too. Joanna and Sheldon delivered the best customer service experience that would make it worth the long drive for me to come back later.

I came here for the first time around 9 years ago in 2013 and I fell in love immediately! Their ribs are so good and they care about quality over quantity. The food also comes out really fast. Most occasions I come here with family (around a party of 10) and they make sure everything is good and that we have an enjoyable experience! Their fries are crunchy and tasty. Their corn is fresh and juicy. Their Phil’s sauce is also amazing with any bbq foods!

Pretty good bbq place. Busty too. I have the cattle and chicken combs, the full pig slaughter and half the chicken meal. All were well cooked and seasoned. Only complaint was that they only gave me 1 3 ounces container Bbq sauce for 3 dinner boxes and large side of Pommes.
