I love this place! this place is an auto hour from where I live. every time I can get her food from here. I always order 2 plates, 1 for the night and the other for the next day!

for years in the Pita kitchen. super Mediterranean food, faster and fresh service, they can not go wrong. parking can be a little difficult, but only patient and they will find a place. they have tables, but it's a small place. To-go options are usually easier when they eat a series of people. I don't think they'll be disappointed.

I'll be here in a moment! the people behind the desk when we came at night were very friendly. also very accommodating. I wanted the lamb and the beef-shawarma and asked to have all sides hummus. what they did very well! the shawarma taste is great, the texture is great. I wish that schawarma was a little damper, but I admit it was quite late to close them. So next time, I have to come sooner. I can't complain in all. they are white garlic paste that everyone loves is very lovable. pun intended. there should be a room or two in the front. if the dinge get busted on the ventura boulevard and van nuys, there is one or two in the back. otherwise they have to park in the apartment on the road. this place reminds me of one of the new yorker pizza places to which they would go, except this place serves shawarma. there are inside seats for I would say maybe about 15 people, and then a few tables outside for maybe 8 to 10 people. they are far enough from ventura boulevard, where they do not get the loud traffic. but I would imagine that the traffic to the north on van nuys could be a little rough during the rush hour. ironically, most of the people who were before and behind me, in the line, we get their orders to go. I just wanted to sit at the place and see how the ambiance is and it's great!

This type of food is my favorite so I've had it from many locations and this place by far is the freshest, best tasting and large amounts I've had here in the USA. Very quick delivery too. Absolutely outstanding quality food. Much recommended.

The food was good. I got the falafel Pita. They gave me extra tzatziki on the side. That was nice! If I had to perfect it even more I would remove half of the amount of hummus they add to it. I would also change the recipe of the hummus a bit. It’s okay but it could be great! The place needs some love. It’s outdated and it has no charm. It needs to have some paintings and the walls painted just to start. I love the music they play in the restaurant. It’s music from their culture. Sounds so good and puts you in a mood to eat Mediterranean.

Absolutely, the most authentic and consistently delicious Mediterranean food in the entire valley! The #bestmealpitakitchen in my humble opinion, is the chicken kabab plate with the creamiest (amazing hummus, cucumber tomato salad, white meat chicken breast fillers that were grilled on the kabob then laid out on a very generous bed of fluffy rice....Oh, and don't forget the #pita ? (not pictured here but sooooo good). Also not pictured but probably the most incredible highlight of this entire spot, is that they make fresh, homemade Baklava, DAILY and it is TO DIE FOR!! Damn, now I really NEED some Baklava...Run, don't walk! Try this place ASAP and tell me what your favorite dish was or if you liked the Baklava (how could you not using the hashtag #bestmealpitakitchenJess ?

I liked it better years ago when they had the pieces of meats rather than sliced sections of the meat The red meat today was dry and harder to eat. The chicken was great though and the rice and salad were good. The hummus can use a little help flavor-wise and texture wise.
