Portofino's

My family ate at Portofino’s during the Baylor Family Weekend, and although we experienced extremely slow service, we still enjoyed very much. The food tastes phenomenal. I recommend the aubergines parmigiana. Everyone loved their food. Again they were very busy and the service was very slow. But the waiters tried their best to maintain demand, and finally we enjoyed it here. We're coming back!

If you are in Waco, the visit of Portofino is a MUST! I never visited a restaurant for 2 days in a row. Day 1 I had Joe's Garden Special, AMAZING!!! Day 2, I had Shrimp Scarparelli, WOW! The sections are also above the top. The servers, Shade Sitina made this experience even better. So friendly! I would strongly encourage a visit if you are in the mood for Italian food.

Might be the best pasta I have ever had. The Vodka sauce is delicious and the bread is great as well. Big portions and friendly staff.

I've lived in Waco for about 8 years now and I have never heard or seen this restaurant untill about a week ago. If I say so myself, this restaurant Baris and Luigi's are all exceptional Italian restaurant, but portofino's had the best food for sure. When I first walked into the establishment the first thing I noticed was it looked as if it was a very classy restaurant as if it was a better 4 star restaurant or a low grade 5 star restaurant. Also the service was amazing we had a very attentive very professional waitress that added emensly to the restaurant appearing to be a higher end 4 star restaurant. But I highly recommend Portofino's I will definitely be going back and very soon

Great food, great staff, and a downtown Waco classic! They are our neighbors over at Stay Classy and we love sneaking over for a bite to eat every now and then! The bread is fresh and warm, they have the best calamari in town, and the shrimp scampi is phenomenal. Highly recommended!

We stopped in on our way home from San Antonio. I'm so glad we did. The food, service and atmosphere were all amazing. This restaurant will be the go to place when we travel south.
